Heinz Sauer

b. 25 Dec 1932, Merseburg, Germany. Playing soprano and primarily tenor saxophone, Sauer is becoming perhaps one of the most observed German free of charge jazz players. Located in Frankfurt, he provides used the Frankfurter Trio in 1959. As his popularity spread he was presented with a huge increase due to a spell within the 60s with Albert Mangelsdorff’s quintet alongside Kenny Wheeler, Richie Beirach, Dave Holland and Jack port DeJohnette.
