Milpitas, CA’s underground rapper Encore discovered hip-hop young and tried his hands at lots of the style’s elements, including DJing, breaking and popping, and graffing, but found out rhyming to become the lowest priced — & most expressive — method to become mixed up in hip-hop picture. After he completed senior high school and remaining the military, Encore created the Vinyl fabric Miners with two aged friends, DJ/maker Architect and emcee 50 Grand, who quickly departed for L.A. Architect and Encore continuing to collaborate on paths, which combined the DJ’s motivated beats and examples with Encore’s smart rhymes, often inspired by Islam and historic African and Egyptian research. Encore documented singles for Accredited Records and Rocks Throw Information before showing up on Dan “The Automator” Nakamura and Prince Paul’s Attractive Boy Modeling College album, Therefore… How’s YOUR GIRLFRIEND?. The West Coastline rapper’s debut record, Self-Preservation, found its way to 2000 on 75 Ark Information.
