Drowners

Pairing an obsession using the Smiths using a moniker extracted from a Suede melody, one would believe the Drowners would hail from London, or at the minimum, Manchester, when in reality the trendy post-punk quartet fronted with a former male model telephone calls the brand new York City borough of Brooklyn house. Produced in 2012 throughout the abilities of Welsh transplant/frontman Matthew Hitt (vocals, electric guitar), Jack port Ridley (electric guitar), Erik Lee Snyder (bass), and Lakis E. Pavlou (drums), the music group, who invoke brands just like the Strokes, the Libertines, as well as the Vaccines, released their debut EP, Between Us Young ladies, through the Frenchkiss label in 2013. An eponymous full-length outing appeared the following calendar year, and in 2016, the music group released their sophomore studio room long-player On Desire.
