DREAMCAR — the supergroup collision of associates of WITHOUT DOUBT and AFI — made their shock debut in 2017 using the discharge of their initial single, “Wipe out for Chocolate.” Drenched in the modern noises of ’80s synth pop and brand-new wave, DREAMCAR’s eyesight veered nearer to vocalist Davey Havok’s focus on his various other side task, Blaqk Sound, while investing in the flirtations that bassist Tony Kanal, guitarist Tom Dumont, and drummer Adrian Youthful made on WITHOUT DOUBT monitors like their Chat Chat cover “It’s MY ENTIRE LIFE,” or standout choices from 2012’s Push and Shove like “Searching Scorching” and “Heaven.” Acquiring cues from main affects like New Purchase and Depeche Setting, the guys fulfilled up in 2014 to measure interest in the brand new task. After striking it off, they made a decision to make it established, working in key with maker Tim Pagnotta (Neon Trees and shrubs, Walk the Moon) of Sugarcult.
