Growing from the North Country, Vermont’s Currently Nameless presents an audio that’s so eclectic it really is generic; a destiny which has befallen a great many other models inside the jam music group genre where they run. The quintet mixes strummed folk, funk, and psychedelic spirit into an indistinct mix. Fronted by Sean Daley, whose gruff vocals appear to be a young guy imitating a blues vocalist, the music group came jointly in Burlington, VT, in the past due ’90s and gigged frequently in the pubs and taverns through the entire state’s myriad skiing towns (similar to Colorado’s String Mozzarella cheese Occurrence). They quickly documented Someday I, their debut record, which was filled up with thick in-joke lyrics (like the band’s truck), cultural sources (Sesame Street’s Snuffleupagus), and the most common spectrum of preferred stoner topics.
