Crazy Strings

Although bluegrass band Crazy Strings experienced various lineups throughout their lifetime, they generally continued to hire a few of the most prolific and talented Canadian musicians around. They produced their name executing at Toronto’s well-known Silver Dollar Space, playing the acclaimed displays “Large Lonesome Wednesdays” for quite some time. A number of the numerous users of Crazy Strings (banjoists Chris Coole and Chris Quinn, mandolinist and guitarist Dan Whiteley, mandolinist Andrew Collins, guitarists Marc Roy and Joey Wright, vocalist Jenny Whiteley) also have all been involved with numerous other part projects, like the Creaking Tree String Quartet and Whiteley Brothers Blues Music group, aswell as solo function.
