Cold Showers

Named because of their fix for Los Angeles’ sunny days, Cool Showers strike an equilibrium between ominous post-punk and jangly indie pop. Vocalist/bassist Jonathan Weinberg, vocalist/guitarist Jessie Clavin, keyboardist Brian Davila, drummer Renee Adams, and guitarist Chris Ruler formed the music group this year 2010. The boy-girl vocals and fuzzed-out guitars on the first discharge, the 2011 Mexican Summer months one Highlands, drew evaluations to X as well as the Jesus and Mary String; another solitary, 2012’s Decay, preceded Chilly Showers’ debut mini-album for Dais Information, Love and Repent. The band came back in 2015 with Matter of preference, a dark synth-pop arranged featuring the solitary “Plantlife.”
