Clean Cut Kid

Liverpudlian indie pop four-piece Clean Lower Kid shaped in 2014. Fronted by husband-and-wife group Mike and Evelyn Hall, they began being a duo before conference bassist Saul Goodman and briefly rehearsing being a trio. In November 2014, Ross Higginson became a member of on drums as well as the band’s lineup was full. Even as a young child Mike was fixated with music, rotating the Beatles Blue and Crimson albums, along with Michael Jackson’s Harmful, on his Walkman, and eventually taking on your guitar in his teenagers after his dad provided him a battered acoustic with just three strings. His penchant for traditional pop permeates the band’s very own music that’s seen as a unabashedly intimate lyrics and infectious melodies. Some singles started their career, you start with “Runaway” and “Supplement C” in 2015. The impact of Fleetwood Macintosh, Peter Gabriel, Joni Mitchell, and Paul Simon offered them well, because they were agreed upon to Polydor after playing just their second display. Following their one produces, Clean Cut Kid’s debut record Felt made an appearance in 2017.
