Carlos Pita

Having analyzed classical composition and conduction, Carlos Pita phone calls forth the tradition of his house condition Bahia, of cordel literature (booklets bought from upstate fairs dangling by wireéis definitely, or strings), cantorias and cantadores (music and music artists, generally blind and errant), combining it with classical and pop music. His 1st album, Águas perform São Francisco, was successful of critic and brought him a number of important awards. Having documented his last recording in 1986 (Feliz), Carlos Pita undeservedly dropped in ostracism, but he was paid tribute by Elba Ramalho in the promotional tour and recording Paisagem.
