Blazing Apostles

Originally formed in-may 1992, Mathew Apostle (b. Mathew Apostle; bass, vocals) and Luke Apostle (b. William Logan; vocals, acoustic guitar) experienced previously worked collectively on a number of musical tasks. Located in Scotland, the duo added Tag Apostle (b. Martain Sweeny; keyboards) and John Apostle (b. Scott Watson; drums) to total the line-up – implementing first names to make a nice biblical reference stage. Influenced by an amalgam of XTC, Steve Vai, Sting and Sandie Shaw, the group quickly built an area following before getting into national times in 1994. In Feb they released a edition of ‘Usually Something There To Remind Me’ in tribute to Shaw, however the record didn’t come in the graphs. Almost immediately later on the group split up.
