Dead Heart Bloom

Dead Center Bloom may be the group name for the single profession of singer/songwriter Boris Skalsky, who was simply a singer, bass participant, and keyboard participant in the Washington, D.C.-structured band Phaser in the first many years of the 21st century. Following the break up of Phaser, Skalsky holed up for half a year and, by using some close friends (drummers Gregory Hudson and Simon Ley, previous Phaser guitarist Paul Timber, as well as the Sunrise Quartet), composed and documented his own record, also called Deceased Heart Bloom, offering 12 original music and a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Jail Blues.” It had been released by KEI Information on March 21, 2006.
