Bill Truck Loo is really a manufacturer, musician, and DJ located in Ypsilanti, MI, a city located roughly 40 mls western of Detroit. Because the middle-’90s, Truck Loo continues to be producing music which has sifted through the principal affects of Detroit techno (Carl Craig, Derrick May) and Berlin dub (Simple Channel, Tempo & Audio), even while incorporating much less apparent strains of jazz and hip-hop. No stranger towards the live picture, Van Loo have scored several significant gigs with performances at Richie Hawtin’s 13 Below membership and the initial Detroit Electronic Music Celebration.
