LARGE HEAD Blues Club is actually LARGE HEAD Todd & the Monsters augmented with Cedric Burnside (grandson of blues great R.L. Burnside), guitarist Lightnin’ Malcolm, and vocalist Ruthie Foster, and also a rotating ensemble of blues legends who’ve included B.B. Ruler, David Honeyboy Edwards, Hubert Sumlin, and Charlie Musselwhite. Being a conglomerate, LARGE HEAD Blues Membership grew from the Blues on the Crossroads tour honoring nation bluesman Robert Johnson’s 100th birthday, as well as the set up and extended group went in to the renowned Ardent Studios in Memphis with manufacturer Chris Goldsmith to record an record of songs connected with Johnson, who just ever documented 29 music, all through the years 1936 and 1937.
