Basic Vacation

Basic Holiday are an indie pop trio located in NEW YORK. Guitarist/vocalist Chris Greatti initial fulfilled bassist Jon Paul when both musicians were employed to regress to something easier another solo musician for a fresh York gig, and their a friendly relationship soon converted into cooperation. In early 2013, the duo recruited drummer Mike Montalbano and started writing songs jointly, bonding more than a shared love for traditional rock, ’80s brand-new wave, and modern bands the brand new Radicals and Foster individuals. Among their early demos, “I REALLY BELIEVE,” discovered its method to Grammy-winning manufacturer David Kahne (the Strokes, Regina Spektor), who decided to generate the single and finally their self-titled debut EP. Released in early 2014 by Female Gaga’s Atom Manufacturer Music and Capitol Information, the Basic Holiday EP combines uplifting singalong choruses with restricted, hook-filled pop/rock and roll arrangements.
