Azmyl Yunor

A multifaceted musician, Azmyl Yunor (given birth to in Kuala Lumpur in 1977) was area of the influx of independent music artists hailing from Malaysia and neighboring locations in Asia as the 21st hundred years dawned. Head of his very own label (Rapidear), Yunor explored several designs on his many self-released series, you start with the 1997 cassette-only Whatever. Following the hype his preliminary tape produced, Yunor released another three cassettes, ultimately branching out to the Compact disc file format with 2004’s Jikalauan EP and 2005’s alt-country-tinged Tenets EP. Furthermore to his single function, Yunor also documented a full-length recording with his music group, the Sigarettes, that was credited for release sooner or later in 2008. His support from the indie rock and roll and vocalist/songwriter movement for the reason that portion of Asia (e.g., Pete Teo, Shelley Leong, and Shanon Shah) included the forming of the Experimental Music artists and Performers Co-Op and the business of the annual KL Sing Music festival.
