Minneapolis, MN-born vocalist Auburn was raised listening to modern gospel but eventually gravitated toward pop-R&B. Her 1st experience like a performer was at age 13, as an associate of Loyal — an organization that once opened up for B2K but didn’t improvement beyond that. Single material published to her MySpace web page resulted in Same Giirl, her debut record, which she resembled a Ciara. Released separately in 2007, the record was helped by production function from Naughty by Nature’s Kay Gee. Shorly after touring the U.S. as the starting action for Keyshia Cole, Auburn was embroiled by Jonathan “JR” Rotem’s Beluga Heights store label. The lively “La La La,” offering Iyaz, was her initial single made by Rotem, and it reached the Billboard Sizzling hot 100 in July 2010, released as she continuing to focus on her second record, which was established to be released through a cope with Warner Bros.
