Antimatter

Antimatter is a task formed by longtime Anathema bassist Duncan Patterson, who also quit the doom/loss of life pioneers amid their changeover toward post-Floyd ambient rock and roll territory. Combined up with guitarist Michael Moss, he thought we would explore uncharted waters by means of ethereal ambient option rock and roll laced with consumer electronics. To aid them in this, the duo drafted two visitor vocalists in Michelle Richfield and Hayley Windsor to seem on the full-length 2001 debut, Saviour, which also presented a cameo from Patterson’s previous Anathema associate Danny Cavanagh. Another album, titled Lamps Out, adopted a year later on, and another, the greater acoustic Planetary Confinement, in 2005 (all three had been released by Prophecy Productions in Germany and THE FINISH Records in america), and Patterson remaining the group to be able to concentrate on single task Íon. Moss continuing Antimatter, assembling music artists who contributed towards the group’s earlier recording to record Departing Eden, their 4th album, which transferred from the ambient digital audio of their previously work and highlighted more electric powered guitars. Prophecy Productions released the record in June of 2007, as well as the group spent all of those other year touring European countries. Moss reunited with Patterson in 2008 for the tour featuring materials from both performers’ back again catalogs. Choice Matter, a compilation of Antimatter rarities, alternative mixes, and demos, made an appearance on Prophecy Productions this year 2010. Fifth correct album Concern with a Unique Identification found its way to 2012, mixing sonic components from every one of the group’s prior functions. Antimatter commenced documenting The Judas Desk, their sixth record, in Apr of 2015.
