The singer who finished third in season eight from the U.K.’s The X Aspect, Amelia Lily was created in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, Britain and began her musical profession even though still a high-school pupil by posting movies of herself performing on YouTube. Boasting a solid voice similar to Christina Aguilera, she auditioned for The X Element in 2011 when she was 16, executing Erma Franklin’s “Little bit of My Center” for the show’s judges, Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, and Kelly Rowland, who became Lily’s coach. Nevertheless, she was removed by Rowland in the show’s initial live event.
