Amandine Bourgeois

Amandine Bourgeois is a France pop singer/songwriter who rose to popularity in 2008 on the tv screen talent present Nouvelle Star. Delivered on June 12, 1979, in Angoulême, France, she was the first-place champion of the 6th period of Nouvelle Superstar, a French-language version of Pop Idol. On June 11, 2008, through the final bout of the growing season, she sang the tracks “Hey You” by Green Floyd, “En Apesanteur” by Calogero, and “Someone to Like” by Queen in competition against second-place runner-up Benjamin Siksou. Also that evening she sang three tracks in duet with Siksou: “Paroles, Paroles” by Dalida and Alain Delon, “Respect” by Aretha Franklin, and “C’est Vraiment Toi” by Télémobile phone. In the instant aftermath of her first-place surface finish on Nouvelle Superstar, she was provided a major-label documenting agreement with Sony Music and proceeded to go about composing and documenting her full-length record debut, 20 m2 (2009). Co-written with others, 20 m2 demonstrated well-known upon its discharge, reaching the TOP from the albums graph in France, the very best Ten in Belgium, and the very best 30 in Switzerland. “L’Homme de la Circumstance,” compiled by award-winning Québécois vocalist/songwriter Ariane Moffatt, premiered as the album’s business lead single.
