Al Gay

b. 25 Feb 1928, London, Britain. After formal research in clarinet and saxophones on the Guildhall College of Music, Homosexual worked in a variety of dance bands through the middle- and past due 40s. In 1953 he became a member of the Freddy Randall music group and, after departing three years afterwards, he remained highly connected with the original jazz scene, using rings led by Joe Daniels, Harry Silver and Bob Wallis.
