Hasrat Jaipuri

Known for his basic and poetic lyrics, Hasrat Jaipuri was perhaps one of the most influential songwriters in the annals of Indian film. For a lot of his early profession, Jaipuri caused near-legendary film composer Raj Kapoor. Producing his debut with Barsaat, Kapoor’s second film, in the 1940s, Jaipuri done more than 2 hundred movies before his pension in the past due-1980s. While his many successful music, “Shri 420” and “Awara,” had been collaborations with Kapoor, he also composed such strikes as “Teesri Kasam,” “Brachmachari” and “Andaaz” with Shammi Kapoor. Soon after Jaipuri’s loss of life in 1999, at age eighty-one, composer Naushad stated, “Hasratsaheb was an excellent individual and Urdu poet. He was cherished by one-and-all in the film sector and was among the last pillars from the RK Studios.”
