After the Fire

Following the Fire was originally formed in Britain in 1974 by keyboard player Peter Banking institutions. This lineup disbanded a couple of years later, where point Banking institutions re-formed the music group with guitarist Andy Piercy, bass participant Nick Fight, and drummer Ivor Twiddell. The brand new lineup performed the London music picture and finally became a preferred on the Marquee on London’s Wardour Road. In 1978, the music group cut their initial album, Signals of Change, independently Fast label. Their musical design at that time sounded like early Genesis and Greenslade. After raising popularity, the music group agreed upon to CBS to record their second record, Laser Like, which marked a big change in path influenced with the latest emergence of brand-new wave. Battle still left and was changed by guitarist John Russell, who was simply previously in Narnia with Banking institutions. Banks transformed his name to “Storage” Banks in order to avoid dilemma using the ex-Yes guitarist using the same name, while Piercy turned to bass. The one “One Rule for you personally,” made by Rupert Hine, proceeded to go U.K. Best 40. The band’s third recording, 80F, was much less effective. Twiddell was later on changed by Peter Ruler (ex-Flys). 1981’s Electric batteries Not really Included was a far more commercial work, but achievement eluded the music group until 1983 if they scored a U.S. TOP strike with “Der Kommissar.” By this time around only Piercy continued to be in the lineup.
