A Smile and a Ribbon certainly are a Swedish indie pop duo, made up of Rebecca Melman and Martin Lindqvist, whose special, simple, cute-as-a-button tracks nod to performers like Talulah Gosh, Tilly as well as the Wall structure, and Cub. Their debut full-length, The Boy I Desire I Under no circumstances Met, premiered on Shelflife in nov 2007. The duo embarked on the humble U.K. tour to get the record in the springtime of the next year, producing an appearance in London using the likeminded indie pop ensemble Felines on Fire.
