The Prettiots

Using their sassy, no-nonsense lyrics and gently scuzzed but highly melodic indie pop, NY duo the Prettiots have garnered comparisons towards the Moldy Peaches, though their obsessions with Law & Order as well as the movie Clueless put them inside a strange group of their own. Shaped in 2014 by vocalist and ukulele participant Kay Kasparhauser and bassist Lulu Landolfi, they gigged around NY, accumulating their status and material. An end at SXSW throughout their 1st nationwide tour in 2015 led to a cope with Britain’s Rough Trade Information, which released a 7″ from the Prettiots’ wry solitary “Young boys (WHICH I Dated in SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL)” later on that summer season. Their full-length debut, Funs Great, premiered in Feb 2016.
