Alina Rotaru

Alina Rotaru grew up in Bucharest, where she studied piano and choral performing in the Academy of Music. She relocated to Germany in 1999 to review harpsichord with Siegbert Rampe, Wolfgang Kostujak, Carsten Lohff, and Detlef Bratschke, and she analyzed with Bob vehicle Asperen in Amsterdam. Rotaru can be an trainer of harpsichord in the University from the Arts in Bremen, and she performs internationally. She’s documented the music of Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and Johann Jacob Froberger for Carpe Diem, and a Compact disc of functions by William Byrd, John Bull, and Orlando Gibbons for Sono Luminus.
