Guitarist Shane Simpson studied jazz for a long time, learning the intricacies from the genre after discovering it seeing that an adolescent. After ten years working being a sideman, he stepped in to the studio room to record Sketches in 2000. The record was a shock to anyone who acquired implemented him up compared to that stage, since he still left his jazz tendencies in the home and began focusing on bluesy folk rock and roll.
