Miss Dominique

Dominique Michalon was created in Sarcelles, France in 1979. Her parents included her with gospel choirs as a female, both for musical fulfillment and hoping of instilling traditional beliefs in their little girl. The family transferred to Martinique when Dominique was 12, of which period she turned stylistic gears, having uncovered the music of Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald. Falling deeply in love with jazz, she started executing locally in the area’s beachfront pubs.
