Hailing from France, the group Sotos inscribes its make of progressive rock and roll in the rich avant-garde heritage of the country. Drawing motivation in the Zeuhl of Magma as well as the chamber rock and roll of Univers No (yes, the latter’s Belgian, but it’s close more than enough), Sotos weaves avant-prog anthems that are both complicated and driving.
