47UMa

Michigan-based worldbeat band 47UMa are led by singer/guitarist Gail Baker, who began performing professionally within the Detroit area in 1980, dealing with a number of groups. She gained local recognition on her behalf appearance over the documenting Live at Chaps-on-Main and in 1983 documented within What If Considering. Within the 1990s, she coupled with drummer Mike Friedman and bass participant Steve Rouse to create 47UMa, which started making performances in Apr 1997. (The name of the music group derives in the discovery from the superstar 47 Ursae Majoris b within the Big Keep constellation about enough time they produced.) The group produced its first saving, a cover of Jefferson Airplane’s “Light Rabbit,” for the Detroit compilation released with the Western european Zambee-Karlt label released in November 1997.
