Oakland-born, Atlanta-based singer/rapper Robert Davis 1st documented as Rolls Royce Rizzy, pinged the radar of a particular luxury automobile manufacturer, and subsequently modified his name to Royce Rizzy. Davis resolved on 24hrs carrying out a short affiliation with Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def label. A far more R&B-oriented wall plug for Davis — with pitch-altered, bottom-heavy sluggish jams the m.o., putting him somewhere within the-Dream and regular collaborator Ty Dolla $ign — 24hrs debuted in 2016 with multiple bundles of SoundCloud uploads and Open up, an EP released commercially through Personal Golf club. The eight-track follow-up Night time Shift adopted in 2017, of which stage Davis experienced also racked up outside collaborations with famous brands MadeinTYO (his sibling), Ty, G-Eazy, and Blackbear.
