The Steinways

Pop-punk goofballs with a clear fondness for cheeseburgers, women, as well as the Ramones (definitely not in that purchase), the Steinways hail from Astoria, NY, where in fact the people previously played in a number of local punk rings, including the Timid Men, the Kevins, the Overlooked, and even more. Guitarist and vocalist Grath Madden, guitarist and vocalist Ace, bassist and vocalist Michelle Shirelle, and drummer Chris Grivet began making music collectively in the springtime of 2003, and some months later on the Steinways released their 1st EP, Carry vs. Man, that was drawn using their early demos. After playing a number of punk rock locations in NY, NJ, and Long Isle, the music group finally released their 1st recording, Missed the Motorboat, through Cold Ft Records in the summertime of 2006. A 7″ EP, Rocket Medical procedures, adopted in the springtime of 2007 from Don Giovanni Information, and the music group hit the street beyond your Eastern Seaboard to market it, including a Chicago gig in the cellar of the punk home that’s house to two men who utilized to maintain Screeching Weasel.
