12 Rods

The post-new wave unit 12RODS was formed in Ohio in mid-1992; originally dubbed Ryan’s Bihg Hed honoring frontman Ryan Olcott, the group ultimately resolved on a long lasting name and a long lasting line-up using the enhancements of synth participant/guitarist Ev and drummer Christopher McGuire. An early on demo helped property 12RODS a documenting time in Minneapolis, leading to the release of the full-length debut, Bliss. A 1996 EP, Homosexual?, brought the trio the eye from the V2 label, who shortly produced 12RODS their first American putting your signature on; the group’s major-label debut Divided Personalities premiered in 1998. The Todd Rundgren-produced follow-up, Parting Anxieties, made an appearance in the summertime of 2000.
