Zsolt Kalló

Zsolt Kalló is a Hungarian violinist, and he’s the concertmaster and artistic movie director of Capella Savaria, a chamber orchestra that uses period devices. Students of Eszter Perényi in the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Kalló graduated in 1990 with honors, and he continuing his research with Sándor Végh. Kalló offers performed with Sonora Hungarica, Concerto Armonico, Aura Musicale, as well as the Orfeo Outfit, and he’s a founding person in Trio Antiqua as well as the Authentic Quartet. Kalló shows at Szombathely Conservatory of Music, the Tibor Varga Institute of Musical Arts, and István Széchenyi School. He gained his DLA level this year 2010, and received the Liszt Award in 2014.
