Zdenek Kosler

Czech conductor Zdenék Kosler achieved worldwide recognition being a compelling interpreter of huge portions from the Czech and Central Western european repertories. Equally relaxed for the concert stage and in the opera home, he led many acclaimed recordings and presided on the premieres of several Czech concert functions. Instructed as a kid by his musician dad, Kosler later went to the Prague Academy of Musical Arts, where he majored in performing, structure, and piano. During his years there, he was privileged to utilize the well-known Czech conductor Karel Ancerl. After offering as helper conductor for the Czech Choir as well as the Kühn Children’s Chorus, Kosler was involved with the Prague Country wide Theater in 1948.
