Willie Henderson

Manufacturer/arranger Willie Henderson’s versatile abilities could be heard through the entire Brunswick Information catalog and a myriad of edges recorded through the ’60s-’70s heydays of Chicago spirit. Delivered August 9, 1941, in Pensacola, FL, Henderson’s family members shifted to Chicago when he was a kid. Taking on the baritone sax, he started backing Otis Hurry and others whilst in his twenties. He also researched with another organizing legend, Adam Mack.
