Wendy Shaw

b. Kingston, Jamaica, Western world Indies. Shaw embarked on her behalf musical profession in 1987 when she auditioned and enrolled as business lead vocalist for the all-female group, Jahdeeda, who performed jointly for just two years before disbanding. In 1989, Shaw embarked on a single profession and released her debut, Compliment His Majesty. In 1990, her profession was firmly set up with the discharge of ‘Reggae Music MAY BE THE Music FROM THE King’, extracted from the record. The one was followed with a promo video that highlighted on several music television systems and resulted in international acclaim. Within the same calendar year she performed on the Bob Marley Time Celebration at Long Seaside, California, where her effective functionality prompted a petition on her behalf return. This resulted in notable performances in Jamaica including Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay and Reggae Memory Jam in Clarendon. In 1994, she embarked on periods on her behalf second discharge, Passing Through The Flames, created with the help of Dwight Pinkney of Root base Radics. In america she performed at several festivals, including significant performances in Utah, Oklahoma, California, while her displays on the Kansas Town Reggae Summer months Fest were fulfilled with vital acclaim. She preserved her notoriety through the entire 90s executing alongside such luminaries as Bunny Wailer, Dennis Dark brown, Freddie McGregor, Everton Blender, Cocoa Tea and Burning up Spear. She’s also performed alongside musical inspirations and close friends Judy Mowatt and Sister Carol. In 1995, Shaw started focusing on her most recent compilation combining fans rock and roll, dancehall and root base. The Sane Music group as well as the Firehouse Staff offered music while vocal support originated from Kulcha Knox, Power Man as well as the Hulk.
