Virginia Wing

Pursuing in the footsteps of Broadcast, Stereolab, This Temperature, Blonde Redhead, and a bunch of other experimental pop rings, Virginia Wing shaped in South London in 2012. Composed of guitarist/keyboardist Sam Pillay, drummer Sebastian Truskolaski, and keyboardist/vocalist Alice Merida Richards, the music group quickly go about gigging, rehearsing, and documenting, issuing an individual on Essential Heights and a self-titled 12″ for the Faux Discx label in 2013. They adopted with Actions of Pleasure, a lushly experimental full-length documented at London’s Holy Hill Studios by Misha Hering and released past due in 2014 burning Records. Quickly afterward, the music group toured the U.K. as support for Hookworms, after that set out on the headlining jaunt around European countries. They released the “Rhonda” one, which highlighted an appearance by Grimm Grimm’s Koichi Yamanoha, in Apr of 2016. When periods for another album started, Truskolaski was no more in the group and the rest of the members going in a far more starkly digital path. Their second record, Forward Constant Movement, was again documented with Herring, and premiered in past due 2016.
