Viper

Viper is a Brazilian rock music group formed in 1985, when brothers Pit (bass) and Ives Passarell (business lead electric guitar) joined up with guitarist Felipe Marchado, drummer Cassio Audi, and vocalist Andre Matos. After several demos, Viper’s initial album, Military of Sunrise, premiered in July 1987; it had been a reasonably raw-sounding Iron Maiden-type record and was extremely effective in Brazil. After Sergio Facci got over on drums, Viper came back to the studio room and recorded Theater of Destiny in 1989. This second record featured a lot more older songwriting, heavily inspired by traditional music. This, coupled with Andre Matos’ significantly improved performing, made Theater of Destiny a top-notch intensifying metal record. While Matos needed Viper to keep within this neo-classical, intensifying metal style, all of those other band wished to move back again to a more regular metal audio. This led to Matos departing the band to create Angra. Matos had not been replaced by a fresh member; Pit Passarell became the brand new vocalist, while Renato Graccia became the brand new drummer. Evolution premiered in 1992, trading traditional influences as well as the operatic performing of Andre Matos and only a right hard rock design. 1994’s Coma Trend found Viper moving in yet another path. This album includes a natural, heavy punk rock and roll sound, displaying that Viper loves to maintain changing its audio rather than makes the same recording twice.
