Valerie Masters

b. 24 Apr 1940, London, Britain. This red-headed pop vocalist from London’s East End sang during her youth in the neighborhood underground place during surroundings raids and afterwards became the personal secretary towards the Mayor of Stepney. She received her big musical break when she changed Marion Ryan in the favorite Ray Ellington Quartet. Experts made her 1st documenting, ‘Ding Dong’, for Fontana Information in 1958 and was initially seen on tv within the Hughie Green Display. She was presented with her personal series on Radio Luxembourg in 1959, which went for over 2 yrs. Her only graph success arrived in 1960 with her 6th solitary on Fontana, a edition of the Western track ‘Banjo Boy’. This is the same track that offered much-loved vocalist/comedian George Formby his last graph hit. Masters displayed Britain within the Western (not really Eurovision) Song Competition in Belgium in 1960, which resulted in her employed in Scandinavia, Germany and holland. She documented for HMV Information in 1963, Columbia Information in 1964, Polydor Information in 1966 as soon as even more on Columbia in 1969 but hasn’t graced the graph since.
