Peter Greenwell

Composer and pianist Peter Greenwell channeled the style and wit of his coach, Zeroël Coward, to emerge among the postwar generation’s foremost interpreters from the cabaret custom. Blessed in Warwickshire, Britain, on August 12, 1929, Greenwell started his theatrical profession as an professional, concurrently using his skills being a pianist to create incidental music — composing quickly superseded performing, and in 1959 he teamed with lyricist Peter Wildeblood to full his 1st full-length musical, The Crooked Mile.
