Tony Thompson, the vocalist for R&B action Hi-Five, was created in Waco, TX, and raised in Oklahoma Town. He began performing solos in the neighborhood cathedral choir at age eight. He was observed by a manufacturer and asked to trim a demonstration with Roderick Clark, Russell Neal, Marcus Sanders, and Toriano Easley, acquaintances from his times in Waco. The group agreed upon with Jive Information in 1990. The quintet’s self-titled debut record proceeded to go multi-platinum and spawned many strikes, including “I LOVE just how (The Kissing Video game),” “I CANNOT Wait around Another Minute,” and “YET ANOTHER Partner.” 1992 brought Hold It Goin’ On with “She’s Playing Hard to Obtain” and “Quality Period.” Faithful made an appearance the following calendar year. Thompson’s single debut, Sexsational, premiered on Large in 1995.
