Tom Burbank

Mixing left-field hip-hop with melodic electronica, producer/multi-instrumentalist Tom Burbank produces a sound somewhere within Prefuse 73, RJD2, and his labelmate Modify. The LA indigenous was once an associate from the Fela tribute music group Afrobeat Down, and performed numerous DJ creates and down the California coastline as an associate from the BrokenBeat network. Burbank produced his full-length debut in 2006 when Mike Paradinas’ World Mu label released Famous Initial Words. Burbank described the recording as “an excellent set up of frequencies in neuro-scientific 20 to 20,000 hertz having a twist of perform right.”
