Tiny Fireflies

Purveyors of atmospheric indie pop, Tiny Fireflies is a cooperation between Chicago lo-fi songwriter/music artists and incredibly Truly Yours bandmates Kristine Capua (aka Tiny Mike) and Lisle Mitnik (aka Fireflies). With Capua on vocals, they released a somber eponymous EP this year 2010 that included a movingly murky edition from the Skeeter Davis strike “THE FINISH of the Globe.” A calendar year later they implemented up with the EP Transformation, as well as the stand-alone one “Picture Ideal” found its way to 2012. Compiled by Capua and made by Mitnik with Ian Catt (Saint Etienne, the institution), the band’s still melancholy but synth poppier full-length debut, THE AREA Between, was released in past due 2015.
