Timothy Brown

This noted Uk singer and choral conductor began being a chorister at Westminster Abbey. He researched being a musical scholar at Dean Close College, Cheltenham, and entered King’s University, Cambridge, under David Willcocks as an alto choral scholar. At Cambridge, he constructed and sophisticated his skills being a choral movie director while focusing on music from the Renaissance. He became a place clerk at the brand new University in Oxford (1968 – 1969) and trained in institutions for another a decade. Upon departing Cambridge, Dark brown sang for quite some time using a vocal ensemble known as the Scholars and with many of the primary choirs in London, like the Monteverdi Choir. In 1979, he started offering as the movie director of music at Clare University, where he was also a fellow and movie director of research in music. He retired from that placement this year 2010, and the next season, he was asked to create a choral ensemble to function alongside the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, the Zürcher Sing-Akademie, which he led until 2016. Dark brown also re-established the Cambridge University or college Chamber Choir and founded the outfit British Voices. He in addition has carried out the Cambridge Philharmonic Chorus and Orchestra, the Cambridge Town College Choral Culture, the brand new Cambridge Performers, and London’s Canticum Novum.
