Tiger Okoshi is really a versatile trumpeter that has played both fusion and fairly straight-ahead jazz. A citizen from the U.S. since 1972, Okoshi first obtained attention using Gary Burton; he also acquired a stint with George Russell’s Living Period Orchestra in the first ’90s and documented with Bob Moses. Okoshi provides recorded regularly being a head for JVC, including a unique Louis Armstrong tribute record, Echoes of an email, which he significantly modernized some Dixieland criteria. Color of Earth implemented in 1998.
