The Beethoven Frieze

Produced in the past due ’90s and led with the eclectic stylings of singer Jim Bravo, this Ontario-based and Toronto-centered quartet released a four-track EP in 1998. The EP, entitled “Dutch Concert,” sparked curiosity about supporters and critics because of its mixture of Yo la Tengo instrumentation with early Green Floyd influences. Called after a painting by Austrian symbolist Gustav Klimt, the music group incorporated more affects such as for example XTC as well as the Soft Children into the combine.
