Tierra Santa

Spanish rock group Tierra Santa surfaced in 1997 comprising singer/guitarist Angel, guitarist Arturo, bassist Roberto, keyboardist Paco, and drummer Weñaki. A calendar year later, the rock and roll en español ensemble self-produced their debut record, called Medieval, immediately after touring alongside Avalanche and starting for Dio (the rock quintet led by vocalist Ronnie Adam Dio). Locomotive Music agreed upon them before launching Legendario. In 1999, Tierra Santa became a member of British metal take action Iron Maiden’s tribute recording Transilvania 666, covering “Airline flight from the Icarus.” From Feb to March 2000, Tierra Santa documented Tierras De Leyenda, accompanied by the maxi-single Cuando La Tierra Toca Un Cielo, featuring efforts from Marivi Echaniz and Alicia Arguiñano on vocals.
