The Traditional Fools

A short-lived task from garage-psych mastermind Ty Segall, the original Fools existed throughout a short window following the separation of his early group the Epsilons and before his single career took keep. THE ORIGINAL Fools performed a cheerfully lo-fi cocktail of old-school punk, ’60s garage area rock and roll, and reverb-drenched browse music. The group presented Segall on acoustic guitar and vocals, Andrew Luttrell on bass, and David Fox on drums. The combo performed some live times, and decreased a four-song 7″ EP on Chocolates Covered Information in 2007. In addition they released a limited-edition cassette-only task, Live at Wizard Hill, that same 12 months. THE ORIGINAL Fools documented their first in support of studio recording, a self-titled affair released by In debt, in 2008. Nevertheless, as the group performed occasional reunion displays, for practical reasons they disbanded shortly after the recording appeared.
