The Summer Wardrobe

After performing with such artists as Abra Moore, Patrice Pike, and Billy Harvey, guitarist/singer Jon Sanchez and pedal steel guitarist John Leon founded the summertime Closet in Austin, TX, in the planting season of 2003, quickly adding drummer George Duron (who had backed John Wesley Harding and Dumptruck), with bassist Marty Hobratschk changing Zachary Firnhaber in Dec 2005. The music group made its documenting debut using the 38-minute, five-song EP Occasionally Late during the night, released by BMI Information in 2005. In 2006, they agreed upon to New York-based impartial label Rainbow Quartz Information following its owner noticed them perform at a display in the South by Southwest music event. Rainbow Quartz released their self-titled debut recording on January 23, 2007.
