A high, slick quintet from Cleveland’s Lee-Harvard area that recorded for bail bondsman, Chuck Brown’s Saru label. They slice four singles in the first seventies, but unless you have the initial 45 rpm’s you’re out-of-luck, Saru’s recordings, aside from several Ponderosa Twins AND SOMETHING sides, aren’t available on Compact disc. The Out-of-Sights: Gregory Still, Paul Woodall, Stan Reeves, Harry Stewart, and Larry Wade created at John F. Kennedy Large; Lou Ragland, the 1st A&R guy for Saru, created their recordings when the business was located near downtown on Payne Road across from your old Police Train station. Bobby Massey was Saru’s A&R Movie director after Ragland, his productions, normally, experienced a different experience; by this time around, Saru was on Mls Street. Massey was a card-carrying first person in the O’Jays when he began creating for Saru; he remained with Saru with dreams of being a huge manufacturer when Eddie Levert, Walter Williams, and William Powell reunited with Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff to record for Philadelphia International Information.
